With the collaboration with the Vintage Loft in the Klassik Garage in Eschborn, Kreativ Catering is expanding its portfolio for events in unusual locations. The creative team has been working with Klassik Garage Kronberg GmbH since 2019. Several events have already taken place in the location. The vintage loft and the associated classic garage have created a location that has a very special atmosphere. The location with 400 square meters can be individually designed and leaves space for a variety of event concepts. First event with 100 guests since the lock down

For the KREATIV Catering & Events GmbH, since the 20th June 2020, something like the new normality began again: The Kelkeim-based catering company held the first event with 100 guests this Saturday since the Corona-Lock Down. This first KREATIV premium event in the Main Taunus district took place in the Klassik Garage in Kronberg, a high-quality event location with which KREATIV GmbH has a cooperation agreement.

“The event had already been planned last year and due to the lockdown it was in abeyance for a long time whether it could take place or not”, explains Christina Herold, managing director of KREATIV Catering & Events GmbH, but together with the organizer and the location they decided to hold the event after the official loosening of the regulations.

The focus was on the hygiene concept: “It was important to us to create an event where guests can feel very comfortable and above all safe, while at the same time having to accept as few restrictions as possible”, explains Christina Herold. All specifications of the Kelkheim regulatory authorities, the DEHOGA industry association and the SARS-CoV-2 occupational safety standards of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affaires were taken into account. In addition to distance control and hand disinfection, topics such as the officially prescribed address registration were also integrated into the evening’s proceedings in a pleasant manner. Nothing was left to chance: In addition to wrapped small starters, creations covered with cloches, buffet stations with Plexiglas devices were built especially for the day, behind which the KREATIV team prepared its meals for the guests. The guests could pick up their personally prepared plates form the KREATIV cooks at the stations. Tensors, so called barrier tapes and pathways on the floor provided the necessary distance.

“We even practised smiling – with the eyes, of course”, says Christina Herold with a wink. After all, the most important thing on such an evening is the friendly service, which has taken care of the guests’ wellbeing with mouth-and-nose-protection.

“We are fortunate that our daily business has been in demand again since the first loosening up”, says Christina Herold. This means supplying company canteens, hotels and conference areas. “We have therefore been working for weeks with hygiene concepts for our employees, which also have an effect on production. Likewise, all documentation obligations are already part of our daily routine, so that we could concentrate on our creativity and good service on the day of the event – the rest is quickly becoming second nature to us – this is our new catering world.”

The first event was also something special for Christina Herold, who has been organizing events up to 1,000 guests nationwide for almost 20 years. “Our industry thrives on communication & sociability, we know that we are currently under special observation in everything we do, that doesn’t leave you cold – there was also a certain nervousness in my team. All the greater is the joy that the event in the Klassik Garage was such a great success. “We hope that his reference event will convince even more companies that even under the current conditions events are possible and can become a great experience for the guests.”

Your location has to fulfill this, depending on how many guests you want to host.

 

A maximum of one person per started area of ​​5 square meters accessible to the public, provided seats are taken,

for standing events it is 10 square meters per person.

 

The number of participants must not exceed 100 (upper limit).

Participants are guests, not the service staff and other contributors (technology etc.)

 

 

Hygiene concept

  • Ensure a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between people, unless they live in one household or another household is explicitly permitted, or separation devices are installed
  • Avoid personal close contacts (for example, shaking hands or hugging as a greeting)
  • Comply with hygiene rules (hand washing, cough and sneeze etiquette),
  • Provide hygiene articles, in particular disinfectants,
  • Wear a mouth and nose cover if it is necessary in individual cases (the obligation to cover the regulations remains unaffected)
  • Regular disinfection of hand contact surfaces (e.g. door handles)
  • Regular intensive ventilation of rooms, preference for contacts outdoors

 

Buffets are generally allowed, but we recommend smart solutions from the grab & go area, because queues etc. are not allowed.

We offer dishes that are packed young, modern and environmentally conscious.

Your guests can gradually help themselves here.

For warm dishes, the food distribution can be handed out by our service team.

 

Our employees naturally wear a mouth and nose cover and latex gloves when handling food.

 

On our own behalf, we would like to add that our employees work in an environment in which the SARS-CoV-2 occupational safety standards are implemented and adhered to.

HEALTHY AND GREEN INTO THE NEW YEAR

Every year begins with new intentions: For 2020, I think we can make “green” our motto. The theme is currently running through all branches of industry and does not stop at culinary delights. Our customers also want to eat healthy, want to know what we cook and, above all, how we cook. Eating is not just eating, we at KREATIV Catering have understood this for a long time. And so healthy and green topics have long since found their way into our food concepts. In 2020 the topic will become more and more popular and so we can proudly present proven concepts from our kitchen that not only give meetings and company events the healthy touch but also make them healthy events. Our chef Christian Hergeth has created numerous low carb and slow food dishes, which are catering-proven and work well even at large events. Please ask for our ideas. EXPERIENCE STREETFOOD WITH ALL SENSES

At a major corporate event in Darmstadt at the beginning of November 2019, KREATIV Catering once again demonstrated how street food can be experienced with all the senses. The event with 900 invited guests was a big international kick off event. What could be better than a tour through the international kitchens. The food concept was to be designed in a young and smart way, of course the equipment around it had to fit the theme. Because only in this way can you enjoy the culinary delights with all your senses. So the furnishings were based on pallets as well as wooden boxes and trendy high chairs. With the dishes, importance was attached to the contents: Our team around chef Chris Hergeth not only cooked delicious but also healthy and seasonal food.

LIVING KITCHEN 2017

This is the third time that KREATIV Catering has looked after HÄCKER Küchen at the living kitchen in Cologne. From 16. to 22.  January 2017, the Cologne trade fair will feature all the well-known kitchen and kitchen appliance manufacturers in addition to the IMM furniture fair. HÄCKER Küchen welcomes more than 2,500 guests to its stand every day and presents its show kitchens. This year everything is under the motto ELEMENTS. In the kitchen, all the basic building blocks of life come together in the form of the elements: the stove symbolises fire, water is used for cooking, for example vegetables. This again grows in the earth. Just like the elements, the kitchen stands for life. It is the centre of life, a meeting place, a place for communication, enjoyment and of course cooking. HÄCKER Kitchens brings these aspects together at its stand.

ELEMENTS was then also the motto of the catering, which was to be creatively implemented for more than 1,000 guests daily in the spacious bistro area of the stand with almost 150 seats. In addition to the food concept, great importance was also attached to the presentation of the food, so that this year KREATIV Catering is using only Steelite tableware. Kreativ Catering looks after HÄCKER Küchen in full service.

The outdoor season begins now!

Finally the time for outdoor events begins again. Whether it’s a get-together with colleagues, a big company summer party or a private garden party – there’s always something to celebrate. 2019 comes to the grill what you like: Be inspired by our ideas for your outdoor event. Our kitchen team has developed new grill and summer buffets. Under the motto “Meet your food” we want to make your event a highlight with good food that we prepare with love. How about “Grilled Rib with Caramelized Pointed Cabbage & Endive Potato Mash” or “Grilled Corn Poulard with Sweet Corn, Peppers and Salted Sea Salt – with Red Mojo” and for Fish Lovers “Herbal Sea Bass with Salsa Verde & Grilled Young Garlic”. ZF Safety Days at Hockenheimring

A whole week in June 2016, ZF Friedrichshafen AG invited to the ZF Safety Days at Hockenheimring. The event takes place every two years and representatives of the leading automobile brands are invited to test the new ZF systems. Once again it’s KREATIV Catering responsible for the catering during the event days at the Hockenheimring. In addition to the elaborate daily catering, guests are invited to a BBQ every evening on the terrace of the large tent city, which is being built on the Mercedes grandstand especially for this event week.
